| on the surface this seems like a Platformer Game, but could be called an early action RPG, as it contains role playing elements like spell casting, power ups and etc.
Kane goes on a a quest crossing platform screens til he reaches his destination and then he gathers info that he must report and get his next orders or location to travel to, is really a interesting saga.
of note is that the US game was likely remastered by Sega for the western world. As the Japanese game was released a year earlier in 1988 as Kujaku Ou and had different graphics for the Main Character, Title Screen and etc. |
