| Bloodlines is one of the best titles of the genesis and the series itself. I brought some innovations to the series, as the choice of two playable characters, as the name implies, the game is now bloodiest (the new generation has censures) and the game's story takes place in most present day. The game did not count with a more Belmont as the protagonist, only John Morris would be a descendant of Belmont, and Eric Lecarde, it is not known exactly its origins, just using the Alucard Spear. No doubt a title that can not miss in your library. |

| Excelent action-adventure game. One of the best games from the Contra saga.
This game was not made by the same people that created iterations of the Contra series prior to 1992, when some Konami employees left the company to create the Treasure company; despite this, the game not only maintained the quality that was always famous in the saga but added features that made the playability and replayability much more richer.
4 different characters, each with its own advantages and disadvantages, including different special weapons (such as 5-direction shot and the homing missiles);
Multiple paths, 1 hidden stage;
5 normal endings and 1 secret ending;
Great music (a mixture of techno beats with heavy rock-'n'-roll). (Konami always used to take a good care on its soundtracks) |

| Dynamite Headdy was one of those great games that unfortunately went through a process known as "localization". Nearly all the dialogue was removed, and what little remained was changed. Furthermore, many of the graphics were modified and this already challenging game had its difficulty level pumped up significantly.
Very hard, very quirky, very good. |

| Story:
After many generations of peace, the Dark Forces have assembled again, and as Bren McGuire, a member of the USS Freedom Forces, it is your job to defeat them once again. In the future, mankind will have to deal with many powerful alien species - not all of whom will choose to be friendly. That is the reason behind the Turrican suit - a one-man set of power armor that turns any Earth Force soldier into a nearly unstoppable killing machine.
Gameplay:
The player has to complete numerous large levels always searching for secrets to pick up and enemies to shoot. To do this, you can pick up three different, upgradeable shots: a "Multiple" spread gun, a more powerful, single-direction "Laser" and a "Rebound", which fires shots directly up and down that travel along floors and ceilings, while the main forward-firing shot is weaker. You can also go into wheel-mode by pressing jump whilst holding down on the D-Pad (as long as you have enough special energy) and use a rope. In wheel-mode, you are nearly invincible and can lay mines or explore previously unreachable areas, a mechanic similar to "Morph Ball" from the Metroid series and the "Spin Dash" from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. |

| A big departure from the original pac man games, it's more of a quest, but you don't play pac man, you guide him on the side lines. Showing him where to look or go, keeping him from bumping into things and finding clues. may sound too different, but it's a rather fun game, forget that its pac man not being pace man, it's just fun to have the familiar characters in a totally different game. |

| Pulseman was developed by Game Freak for the Mega Drive and was published by Sega. It is probably one of the best platformers of all time, but is sadly not well known, as it was never published outside of Japan, and was released late in the console's life. Good action is combined with a high quality of production to produce a unique game that is both challenging and fun. It is also fairly long, normally requiring over two hours of play time to complete, putting it in the same category as Ristar. It can also be very difficult at times, especially if you don't fully understand Pulseman's moves.
